Wall mounting console, of heavy-gauge, hammered and silvergilt brass, having its original, serpentine top of one-inch "broken edge" glass, set upon two, hand-forged legs, both with exaggerated scrolls and loops, joined by a central sphere, bisected by a tapering ornamental baton.
Designed in Torino, Italy by Pier Luigi Colli (1895-1968), the younger brother of the two owners, who had attended courses at the Ãcole des arts décoratifs in Paris. An exceptional look for your entry, placed at the end of a hallway, or mounted inside a niche. It is very difficult to find this model with its original top intact.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, minor scratches on original glass top.
